We are not a big company, but just passionate about connecting the world with our pens. Meet Chikako, Akio, and Emiko, the masterminds behind something exciting.
Chikako Tada
Writer and editor with 20+ years of experience. Author of eight books. Has a passion for culinary. CEO and Co-founder of Pen&Co., Ltd. Language： Japanese, English, French.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, National University of Okayama.
Worked as a journalist and editor for Japan’s second largest daily newspaper for 12 years. Studied French cooking in Paris, 2005-2007. Author and translator of eight books, including ‘Little Paris Kitchen’ (author: Rachel Khoo).
Worked for PwC India and Mitsui India. Returned to Japan in 2020. In 2023, Founded Pen & Co., Ltd.
Akio Harada
Sports journalist with 20+ years of experience. COO and Co-founder of Pen&Co., Ltd. Director of the Hockey Japan League (Hockey Japan League). Language： Japanese, English.
Graduated from Hakodate La Salle High School, Needham B. Broughton High School in USA, and Sophia University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, English Department.
Worked in marketing and management at Coca-Cola Japan.
Worked as a sports reporter, focusing on Olympic coverage for 18 years.
Worked as a venue general manager of the hockey venue. In 2023, founded Pen&Co., Ltd.
Emiko Shibahara
Administrative and accounting manager.
